I think that's a smile!

Do you think I can claim this as a smile. Chris and I have been having a little contest to see who could get Maddie to smile first. The little traitor smiled for daddy first. "Hey little girl, I'm the one that feeds you every 3 hrs 24/7" I still can't get her to smile for me, this is the closest thing I've been able to get.

I just love baby cheeks!!!
These pictures were all taken the same night, this was the last one I took. Poor thing I wore her out, she looks bored and done with the photo shoot.

Our Little Baseball Player

Baseball season started and Mason watched his brothers practicing outside and now I can not pull that bat and hat out of his hands. He crys and crys when he sees his brothers leave for their games. I told Chris next time he has to take this boy.
He is soooo cute walking around dragging this bat everywhere he goes. Last night as I was heading up the stairs to go to bed. Mason ran around the corner and then came back and I heard thump thump thump coming up the stairs. I looked down to see Mason with his hat on dragging the bat up with him.
We had a couple days of beautiful weather so I would take him outside and for over an hour he just played hitting the ball around and asking me over and over and over to WATCH!
Chris just beams with Pride!

My Latest Read

I just finished this book. I could not put it down. It kept my attention the whole time. Although I don't know if I would recommend it to everyone. It is kind of a disturbing theme, nothing bad though. I still have to say it was a good book.

Darn Flu Go Away.

My whole family caught the flu...YUCK
This is how we all felt on the inside and I'm sure some of us looked like this on the outside as well.
Thankfully Maddie K was the only one not to catch it.

I just love her

I can't help it, she's so flippin cute. I'm warning you now, you'll be seeing lots of posts of my sweet little girl. She definately has the Vining big eyes. I love it.
I had just given her a bath and was sitting by the window rocking her and she could not pull her eyes away from that window. I had Macey grab a headband and started taking pictures. I have way too many of this exact pose, she never changed her expression or looked away.

Mom to the rescue!

My mother came out for a week and 1/2. It was sooooo nice having her here to help. I can't even begin to tell you how many loads of laundry she washed and folded. My house hasn't been this clean in months. I'm trying really hard to keep it that way. Mom thank you so much for coming out and helping me. We sure enjoyed having you here. The kids miss you already and keep asking if we can go to Arizona to see you and Grandpa.
I couldn't believe it when the news said it was going to snow. Sure enough early afternoon the rain turned snow. Glad you got to see it mom. Sure was fun sharing this memory with you.

Our outing with GrandVona

I'm pretty upset with myself. I didn't take near as much pictures as I would have liked with mom being here.
Here are some pictures of our one outing to Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield.

My New Favorite Salad!

My friend Ali introduced me to this salad. It is so yummy. You have to get this Salad Dressing though. It is Brianna's Poppyseed Dressing and it has a picture of a peach on the front.
Kay this is what you need for this yummy salad. :) this is for one serving. I make it for myself for lunch a lot. I got two of my kids hooked on it too.
You get yourself a crisp apple and use about half and cut into chuncks
Craisins
sugar coated slivered or sliced almonds
& any kind of salad. Pour this dressing on top, mix and eat!!!

Mom had it while she was out visiting- she can testify to how good it is.
