Valentine Party

My friend Ali set up a little Valentine get together for the kids. She had cookies for the kids to decorate and then a couple of us brought crafts to do with them.
They had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed decorating and EATING their cookies!

Maddie K

She looks so chubby in these pictures, but to me she is just tiny. I guess I'm used to Mason. We sure are having fun with her and the kids are always wanting to take turns holding her. Macey is quite the big sister. Sometimes I even find my self in trouble with Macey because I was not taking care of Little Maddie's needs right away.

This is what I have been doing the last couple weeks.

I didn't like how run down and boyish my carseat looked. Who wants to put their new baby girl in that nasty thing. So I decided to try and cover it. I found some cute material and made a little slipcover. Here's the "Before", it looks much worse in person.
And After....

Hair Bows

I wanted to make some cute head bows and I saw someone had used a flower and thought that was so cute. Here's my finished product. Hopefully they'll look cute on the baby and won't be to big.

My almost finished bathroom!

This is my master bathroom that I have painted at least 4 times! I love the color I ended with and am quite excited with the finished project! My friend Ali helped me out a lot, it was fun going to Hobby Lobby and picking out stuff and having a second opinion. I'm a little worried that I put up too many stencils, but I think if I get a few more things to go on the walls it will balance out.

I wish I could do those virtual tours so you could see the whole thing but it's just a small bathroom, this is facing the opposite way. That was a little scary climbing the ladder and getting those stencils painted on, that is high up there.

I'm Nesting.

I don't really have anything to post. I've only got a few more weeks to go and so I have been trying to get projects done around the house before I have this baby. Sad to say but there not projects for the baby isn't that terrible. (I did get all the clothes out and washed.)I have been focusing on finishing my master bathroom. It was an ugly purple when we bought the house, I started with a tan and got halfway through and didn't like it so then I decided to go with an aqua blue, but that ended up looking an ugly shade of baby's breath blue. It was quite hideous there for awhile with all these different colors on the walls and ceiling. Yes the previous owners painted the vaulted ceiling purple as well. gag. So here I am again nine months pregnant on top of a ladder trying to paint the ceiling and get the edges perfect. With each one of my kids I did something like this. Macey it was scraping down a popcorn ceiling. Cade was scraping up a vinyl floor and CJ I can't remember. Don't get mad at Chris for letting me do this. He doesn't - I don't tell him and then he comes home with it already started. I'll have to post a picture of my bathroom when it's done! Cross your fingers that I come early but not to early - I need to finish first.
P.S. isn't that bird hilarious. It cracks me up everytime I look at it.
